the deer is a very popular animal breed,know for its big featuring in the movie Bambi,it is a cool animal to learn about,so lets get to it!Today were going to tell you 9 awesome facts about deer!





-The deer is part of Cervidae family that include moose,reindeer and elk and other species.

-They jump really high and they swim really good!


-A female deer is usually called a 'doe'


-A male deer is usually called a 'slag'


-Did you know there are many deer breeds,like the chinese water deer,fallow deer and way more!


-Deer also have phenomenal sense of smell.They can smell food from a large distance.They use their ability to communicate with each other and to detect other group mates. 

-The life expectancy of a deer is about 20 years.But unfortunately,because of the loss of forests and pollution the number of expectancy drops. 

-Did you know Deer are the only living animal on earth that shed there antlers every year?

-After summer and before winter,deer change color and shed their antlers!
