10 facts about horses

Sadly Lijata didn't have the time to tell us three themes for three weeks,but that fine,we will choose for her!So this weeks theme is all about american animals!So today we will be talking about 10 interesting facts about horses!




1-A male horse is called a stallion and a female horse is called a mare.

2-They only eat plants,witch makes them herbivores.

3-Did you know horses have been used in police army since the 17th century.



4-A horses teeth takes a larger amount of its head then its brain.

5-Horses can sleep both lying down and standing up

6-The first cloned horse was the breed Haflinger,and the cloning had place in Italy in 2003

8-Horses drink at least 25 gallons on water a day,in a warm climat

10-And finally for the last fact of this post!It takes 11 months for a baby horse(Also called a foal) to fully develop inside of the mare!
